enter the muff : this warm, bumping and decidedly sticky affair will suck you right in and never relinquish it vice-like grip until the very last compressed 808 clap has been shot out the love canon. its an a-side with the word builder written all over it. laced with heavy sub bass, organ licks, cooing soul vox and rides galore, this is intense, classic house that will provide the dance floor with an elegant slap upside the head.
steady muffin : on the flip, muff deep arms itself with piano licks, lush, organic percussion and all-out, good-time party vibrations. this track embraces everything that is summer from balearic atmospherics, over your favourite childhood sunset, to italo and straight-up disco.

a ton of steel and pipes used as instruments? à driving steel beats, accompanied by synthesizer sounds and experimental industrial samples create the sound of pale musics premiere release >phsychomania<. for sure this record, presented by matt eno and steve morell, head of pale music, is no easy listening. five bands / projects come together on this sampler, all of them top name current level of electronic and industrial music. from time to time the music appears to be dark and eerie. guest vocalists include luna di morph and rosa lee riza.

a stunning 3 track ep. >enter the night< provides a very funky vibe. with minimal feel, typified in cuts (yeah, shake a leg!), this records kicks off with a house rhythm before a bristling bass really starts driving the piece along. a smoke filled voice soon comes in, throwing the listener off talking about nights and exits or no exits while the track >no exits< on b2 is a fine and dark mixture of crisp beats and glitchy percussion to create a forceful groove as spluttery synth stabs keep up the incessant pressure. cuts of mazi s vocal twist things just that bit more evil as the house edged mood continues its push further into new depths of mayhem. the driving melody in >sarabbath< on b1 is quite a head-turner and should create a stir in the clubs, using the more minimal and melody side of this great 12inch
